Pawan Kalyan to Meet Narendra Modi on 17th ?

A day after actor Pawan Kalyan launched Jana Sena Party amid much fanfare, it has emerged that he has fixed an appointment with Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on March 17. However, the actor could not be reached for confirmation of the news.

For starters, Mr. Kalyan did not utter a single word against the BJP or the TDP during his over two-hour-long speech at the HICC here and towards the end, proclaimed that he was ready to work with any political party except the Congress.

Interestingly, the ‘Congress hatao, desh bachao’ slogan is said to be one that was coined by Mr. Modi himself that goes like ‘Congress ko hatao, desh ko bachao.’ While political analysts say there could be a possible electoral alliance with the BJP-TDP combine, they feel this could be a win-win situation for the fledgling Jana Sena that is yet to get its registration from the Election Commission.

“A common symbol does help, but in the event of not getting it around the time of elections, this is the second best option,” pointed out a source in the Pawan camp.

Two days from now, the star will himself release his book, at another function. It is expected that he will proffer more details about the organisational aspects of his party soon. As of now, what is in the public domain is just the fact that there is a treasurer by name M. Raghavaiah and a secretary Raju Ravi Teja (not the film actor).
