The first look and the teaser of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Uthama Villain’ have become a rage already among the movie buffs. While many seem to have appreciated them, a section of media has reported that the first look is a copy of French photographer Eric Lafforgue’s ‘Theyyam’ picture (on the right of the picture above). However, it is still not known if Kamal Haasan has obtained prior permission from the photographer to use his image.
On the other hand, we feel that it is too early to comment anything about the movie as the first look is just based on a famous art form, and Kamal Haasan might have just been inspired from the photograph.
