While there was a buzz earlier that Alia Bhatt would be making her Tamil debut in cinematographer-turned-director KV Anand's Anegan, the latest is that the pretty young actress has been signed up by director Vettrimaran to play Dhanush's pair in his upcoming film. Looks like the young actress has been second time lucky to pair with the 'Raanjhanaa' star.
It is said that Alia is very happy over this development. Post the success of Polladhavan and Aadukalam, Director Vetrimaran and Dhanush are teaming up once again for a yet-to-be-titled film which will be produced by Cloud Nine Movies. The earlier buzz was that Ashrita Shetty who has made her debut with 'NH4' alongside Siddharth, has bagged this project, but looks like Alia Bhatt has been signed up.
